A Brave Pen-light in a Dark World: Guest Post for Bronlea.com

Sometimes I write things that just force their way out. My list of excuses for why I just don’t have time to get to it runs short and they tumble out before I can manage to reign them in. Sometimes they fit the Depth of the Riches vibe, sometimes they don’t (or I just don’t know)–this is one of those posts.

Fortunately, I have this dear friend Bronwyn that I can text things like “I wrote 965 words this morning. Would you maybe be interested in hosting them?” And then she replies, “Hot dang yes!!” Without even having read the thing. There are words for friends like this. Friends that are just so ‘hot-dang’ for you it makes you shake your head.

I don’t know what they are, but someday I’ll find them.

Until then, head over to her place (and be sure to click around) where she graciously welcomes any old ragamuffin to pull up a chair and bask in her encouraging hospitality:

  1. I don’t publish everything I get sent, you know, and I only reserve hot dang yesses for the very finest writers: those whose voices I have learned from experience to trust. 965 words of the most iridescent beauty, my friend.
